The Broadcom Emulex LPe32002 is a dual-port 32GFC Fibre Channel host bus adapter from the Emulex Gen 6 series, purpose-built to connect servers to Fibre Channel SANs at the highest available Gen 6 line rate. Powered by the Emulex XE501 (Engine 501) I/O controller and an eight-lane PCIe 3.0 host interface, the LPe32002 delivers up to 6,400 MB/s full-duplex throughput per port and over 1.6 million IOPS per port, addressing the massive bandwidth demands of all-flash and NVMe storage arrays. Its dual 32GFC ports autonegotiate down to 16GFC and 8GFC for seamless backward compatibility with existing SAN infrastructure. Exclusive ExpressLane traffic prioritization, NVMe over Fibre Channel support alongside traditional SCSI FCP, T10-PI data integrity, and Forward Error Correction combine to deliver low latency and lossless connectivity for mission-critical, database and virtualization workloads. Managed through Emulex HBA Manager, the LPe32002 is backed by an industry-leading 10-million-hour field MTBF.
